Family-friendly fall events at Falcon Heights Church

Fall events are starting up at Falcon Heights Church, and we invite families in Falcon Heights and surrounding communities to join us!

Children’s Faith Formation

We are excited to structure our Faith Formation classes this year around the theme of Christian attributes and character. Each month we will center our Bible connection, story and crafts/activities around a trait or value commonly accepted as core to a Christian life.

Music and singing will also be a part of the classes. We welcome all elementary age children and any preschoolers that are interested in listening to stories, having conversation, and doing crafts. We are a relaxed, multi-age class-open to any who want to be a part of our community.

Faith Formation goes from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. Parents are invited to gather for informal conversation in the library next to where the classroom is located. (It’s a welcoming group that supports each other on their parenting journeys.)

Here are the Sundays for this fall:

  • Sept. 8
  • Sept. 15
  • Oct. 6
  • Oct. 13
  • Nov. 10 (skipping Nov. 3 because of Roseville Schools calendar)
  • Nov. 17

Family-friendly sustainability action

On Saturday, Sept. 28, we’ll have a group working on a Great River Greening native plant installation project from 9 a.m. to noon. All ages are welcome to participate. The location is just southeast of Dale Street and Maryland Avenue. Sign up at Great River Greening’s signup app.

Raising money to fight hunger

Crop Walk on Sunday, Oct. 13 in St. Paul is a way to help raise funds for both local and global hunger organizations. Read more here and sign up your entire family to participate. The distance is about 3 miles.
