Every year our church collects food for students at Falcon Heights Elementary School who are food insecure. We’ll begin collecting the following items starting Sunday, Aug. 29, before and after the service in the church parking lot. Please bring:

• Family-size boxes of Cheerios (or other low-sugar cereal)
• Individual-size packets of instant oatmeal
• Healthy snacks (such as low-sugar granola bars or fruit and nut bars or packets of nuts, etc.)

Thanks for helping the kids in our community have food for weekends when they don’t get school meals. We’ll be collecting other items in the future (such as peanut butter, canned meats, hearty canned soups, etc.).
