Meals on Wheels drivers needed
Roseville Area Meals on Wheels provides recipients with balanced and nourishing meals so they can live healthy, independent lives. Meals on Wheels needs more volunteer drivers–either to take on a regular route, or to provide occasional backup as a substitute. It is a very easy way to help out in our community.
Our church delivers these meals every third Monday, delivering eight to 12 meals on routes covering the Falcon Heights-Roseville area. We pick up the meals at the Roseville Senior Center, located in the Fairview Community Center, at 10:45 a.m. Delivery time usually runs about an hour. Our drivers, using their own cars, work individually or as two-person teams.
If this service opportunity sounds interesting to you, please talk with Carolyn Hill at 651-646-6656, or contact Tara Garvin at the Roseville Senior Center, [email protected], and say you are interested in volunteer driving with the FHC UCC drivers.
