Zafar Siddiqui to speak
Our guest for adult faith formation Sunday, Feb. 23, is Zafar Siddiqui, co-founder and past president of the Islamic Resource Group. He will speak at 9:30 a.m. on the nonprofit IRG’s mission to build bridges of understanding between Muslims and the greater Minnesota community through outreach, and education and interfaith dialogue.
Zafar is also the chairman of the board of Al-Amal School in Fridley. He serves on the advisory board of the Muslim Christian Dialog Center at the University of St. Thomas and is a member of the Minnesota Multi-faith Network. He was a community blogger for the Star Tribune in its “Your Voices” blog from 2010 to 2015. Zafar has a master’s degree in computer science. He is married with four children and currently resides in Blaine.
